Analyst, Fixed Income

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis with the primary focus on Asian credit market with the goal of recommending investment ideas both on an absolute and relative return basis;
• Perform credit review, evaluation and monitoring for bonds in existing portfolio;
• Conduct research on industry trend, market conditions and issuer credit quality to support investment activities;
• Attend Fixed income roadshow meeting and produce regular call/summary reports;
• Perform ad-hoc tasks.

Incumbent Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business related subjects;
• At least 2 years of solid experience in a credit analyst role in banking, insurance industry, asset management or rating agency;
• Experience in analyzing emerging markets corporate, high yield, distressed and/or convertible securities is a plus;
• Professional qualifications(e.g. CFA/FRM) is a plus;
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, WIND and MS Office applications;
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis;
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is essential.
